In 2018, Texas passed a plan for gardening school security. They also pledged to increase mental health access. They also made it easier to get and carry guns. And Gov Abbott has publicly tried to really Texans to buy more guns. We saw on Tuesday what that did.

We need to weigh, as a society, what cost we’re willing to pay. It seems America accepts this death as we continue to avoid even trying the solutions related to reducing the number and power of guns in our communities.
